Carl is the bassist of Slackjaw (pictured second from right), a guitar/bass/piano teacher based in central jersey, and an avid webaholic. He enjoys long walks on the beach, lolcats, and his new Android phone (LG Ally). This blog is where he posts things that are interesting to him and which are hopefully relevant to the reader.
Carl Capodice started his life as a musician at the age of 7 taking piano lessons from a local friend of his mom’s. His passion for music only grew from there. He then joined the elementary school band as a snare drummer, but changed his main instrument to guitar at the age of 12. He took up playing the bass at the age of 16 and that opened up another chapter in the quest for musical innovation. He refers to himself as both a bassist and a guitarist equally, as he has no preferance over the two. He enjoys playing them both equally, and refers to himself as more of a multi-instrumentalist. Carl now plays in a band called Slackjaw as the bassist with John Thompson (guitar and vocals), Randy Marinelli (drums), and Lenny Depiano (keys). Pictured here from left to right is Lenny, John, Carl, and Randy. Slackjaw will be releasing they’re debut album within the next month and a half.
